WHAT IS IT?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The sample is processed to concentrate the platelet portion, which is then used as part of selected rejuvenation procedures.
WHAT WOULD IT BE USED FOR?
PRP is used as a component of selected facial rejuvenation procedures, including microneedling and facial injection techniques. It is one part of a plan rather than a stand-alone solution.
WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE A CANDIDATE?
Candidacy would be assessed individually and depends on health history, medications, skin condition and goals. PRP is generally deferred during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection in the treatment area, or with certain blood, platelet or medical conditions. Not everyone is a suitable candidate.

PRP Microneedling $550. PRP Facial Injections $650. PRP Microneedling and Facial Rejuvenation $750. Beauty Bank members will receive 10% member savings. Pricing is planned and may change before launch.
WHAT WOULD THE CONSULTATION INVOLVE?
We would review your health history, medications, skin condition and goals, explain what the procedure involves, and discuss whether PRP is appropriate for you as part of a wider plan.
WHAT IS THE EXPECTED DOWNTIME?
Temporary redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding and tenderness are expected after procedures of this type. The degree and duration vary with the procedure performed.
WHEN WOULD RESULTS APPEAR?
Changes after procedures of this type develop gradually rather than immediately. Individual response varies and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS MAY BE NEEDED?
Treatment plans of this type usually involve more than one session, spaced over time. Any plan would be individualized after assessment.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS?
As with any injectable or skin procedure there are risks, including bruising, swelling, discomfort, infection and an unsatisfactory response. These would be reviewed in full before any treatment.
WHEN SHOULD I CONTACT THE PRACTICE?
