Chin and jawline filler uses injectable hyaluronic-acid gel placed along the chin, jaw angle, jawline border or pre-jowl region to support lower-face structure and proportion. Product selection, placement and amount are individualized rather than standardized.

Treatment may be considered for chin projection, profile balance, selected chin asymmetry, jawline definition and lower-face structural support. Which areas are appropriate for you is determined during your assessment.

Appropriate candidates are generally healthy adults seeking temporary improvement in lower-face proportion, chin projection or jawline contour. Final candidacy is determined after review of your health history, anatomy and treatment goals.

Treatment is generally deferred during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection or inflammation in the treatment area, with certain medical conditions, or with known sensitivity to the product. Some lower-face concerns are related to skin laxity or skeletal structure and may be better addressed another way. This is discussed during consultation.

We assess your profile, chin projection, facial thirds, jawline and pre-jowl region, lower-face proportions, soft tissue and skeletal structure, and any existing filler. We review your health history and goals, then discuss whether treatment is appropriate and how it would be approached.

Appointment length varies with the treatment plan. Time is set aside for assessment, consent, treatment and aftercare instructions. Your expected appointment length is confirmed when you book.

Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness and firmness may occur. Many patients return to normal daily activity the same day, though appearance may change over the first several days as swelling settles.

Some change is visible immediately, but early appearance is affected by swelling. Final appearance should not be judged right after treatment. A follow-up assessment may be recommended.

Results are temporary. Duration varies depending on the product used, the amount placed, your anatomy, your metabolism and the treatment location. An exact duration cannot be promised.

Some plans are completed in a single session and others are staged across more than one appointment. This depends on the amount of product appropriate for your anatomy and goals, and is discussed before treatment begins.

Common temporary effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness, firmness or small lumps.
